I am an Iranian born, Plymouthian I love my adopted City of Plymouth, and its great people. To say thank you for having me here I have done my best as Restauranter, Hotelier (and currently Owner of the Astor Hotel) or any other way that I could including Charity work.
I believe Charity starts at home. There has never been a Charity organisation that has approached me that I have said no to.
Now for the FIRST time I would like to ask you generous people and friends, to help me raise money for our four chosen Charities.
I will shortly be jumping with Lord Mayor from a plain to raise money for St.Lukes (
www.jumpforplymouth.co.uk), and now I have joined my fellow jailbreakers, I am really looking forward to taking part in this the 25th Dartmoor Jailbreak.
I believe that we should always try to help others less fortunate than ourselves and do all we can to help.
I enjoy writing articles and getting involved with major issues within our city and elsewhere, which you can read about at
www.josephsjournal.com.
I started the campaign to Save the Grand Hotel, which united hundreds of a silent majority to raise their voices and am currently Campaigning for an elected Mayor (see
www.mayorofplymouth.co.uk).
I am honoured and looking forward to participating in this challenge, with my good friends: Gordon, Salvo and Brian in our attempts to raise a significant amount of money.
