We had a lie in today and didn't have to be at our Appointment with Malai at the Smarter shop in Bandar until 9.30am. Malai, is a very driven guy whos son has Autism. After a highly successful medical career he believes his destiny was to set up the Autism charity. This has so far included setting up and running tw centres in the country to help families whose children have Autism. Unfortunatley the centres receive no help from the government, and as a way of helping to fund these centres, and help parents and their children learn specail techniques to help their children into mainstream school and onwards to their journey into adulthood and beyond, he has set up the First Charity shop in Brunei.
At about 11.00am we returned to the hotel, and managed to spend an hour in a shopping complex to buy a few gifts before returning to the Sheraton Utama, and onwards to the airport for our return trip back to the UK at .
It was sad to leave Brunei, and especially Wena and Riza, who have driven us everywhere, and looked after us.
Our flight was at 19.30, but prior to that we had one final photo session with the Royal Brunei Airline Flight Crew and staff.
